Don’t Give Up What You Want Most for What You Want Now
The global impact of the Coronavirus crisis is unprecedented in our lifetimes. Many of us are feeling tired. Anxious. Afraid. We are all trying to figure it out day by day and do the best we can. It can be fatiguing. And the longer it continues, the more chronically fatiguing it becomes, and the bigger toll it takes on us physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.
We are all faced with the same environmental circumstances; the only thing we can control is our reaction to it. This graphic is helpful to recognize and move through our feelings into actions. It divides our current “zones” into Fear, Learning, and Growth. Every day I check in with myself, my family, friends, and clients to see how we can all move out of the Fear zone; even though it may not always feel like it, all of us have an opportunity to make a positive impact in our lives, our families, and our communities.
I am grateful for the close relationships I have with my clients especially in these challenging times. Where many investors have doubt seeing the dramatic losses in their investments over the last few months, the plans we built take these dramatic drops into account so you can continue to live the lifestyle you want.
As I continue to meet with you and review your unique circumstances, I also watch events unfold and meet with other investment professionals virtually. We are identifying price dislocations – circumstances in which financial markets operating under stressful conditions, cease to price assets correctly on an absolute and relative basis. We are repositioning investments in the right mix with an appropriate risk/reward ratio. Your financial situation may be changing, and the investment landscape is changing as well. It’s important we stay connected through this to make the most informed decisions. Let’s not give up on what you want most for what you might want right now.
